The Abolitionist 5K and Virtual 5K is being held to raise awareness and funds to support the abolition of human trafficking. Hosted by the Central Florida Love146 Volunteer Team, we invite you to be an abolitionist and join us on the journey toward freedom.

Abolitionist 5K Race Information

Date: Saturday, October 14, 2017
Location: Speer Park, 331 N Tubb Street, Oakland, FL 34760
Registration & Check-in: 7:00am—7:45am (please arrive early)
Start Time: 8:00am
Rain or Shine Fee: $35/participant ($30 Early Bird Discount before September 16th)
Race Shirts: All participants receive the Abolitionist 5K, custom designed, race shirt
Timing: Chip timing by Road Kill Timing

Course – 5K (3.1 miles)

The course starts and ends at Speer Park. It is flat and takes place on local, tree-lined, neighborhood streets through Oakland. Some streets are paved while others are gravel and may have uneven surfaces.

Top 3 Male / Female Overall Winners
Top 3 male/female in each age group: 14 & under | 15-19 | 20-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70+

Virtual 5K

Can’t make the 5K in Oakland? Join us for the Virtual 5K. This is something that can be done by anyone, anywhere (no matter where in the world you live or are traveling to), any time night or day, at any pace, during any # of days. You can walk or run a 5K (3.1 miles) at one time or complete the distance in smaller increments during any combination of days and distances that works best for you. You can even do it indoors on a treadmill- so just about anyone can do it!
