The Garden of Reflection 9-11 Memorial was created to remember and honor all 2,973 killed on September 11, 2001. It is situated in Memorial Park amid the natural beauty of historic Bucks County farmland in Lower Makefield Township. It is the Official Pennsylvania Memorial to the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The 5k Run/Walk raises money for the endowment to preserve the memorial for future generations. Thanks to our generous sponsors and participants, this race has raised over $200,000 toward this effort.
This year the 5k Run/Walk will be held on Sunday morning, September 15, 2024. It will start and end near the Garden of Reflection 9-11 Memorial. And like other years, all participants registered by September 1st will receive a custom designed, 2024 race-shirt.
Again in 2024 is the 9-11 Garden of Reflection Virtual Challenge. If you can't make it to the run, or are looking for an additional challenge, then check this out. From Friday, September 13 – Monday, September 16, 2024, take up the challenge and run or walk 1 mile, 5K, 5 miles, or as many miles as you can. This is something that can be done by:
Anyone – Anywhere – Any time – Any distance – Any pace – Any # of days.
You participate as it works best for you - so just about anyone
can do it! And all participants in the Virtual Challenge registered by September 1st will receive the unique 2024 Garden of Reflection 5K race shirt!
