Join us for the 3rd Annual Lower Makefield Township "Race the Course 5K & 10K" on Friday evening, November 3, 2023. This event is open to all individuals and supports the Folds of Honor Foundation in their continued goal to provide scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.
Unique about this event, you get to run on the cart paths of the Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Yardley, PA. This is very unique as most golf courses never allow runners or walkers on the course. Makefield Highlands is a beautiful property residing on the former Pleasant Valley Estate Farm with history traced to the early eighteenth century. The 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk will be contained mostly on the flatter front 9 of the golf course, while the 10K will start on the front 9 but finish on the back nine of the golf course which has a few more challenging hills.
All paying participants registered by October 15th will receive a custom designed, long sleeve, Race the Course shirt in their preferred size and the first 300 paid registrations will also receive a custom designed Race the Course medal. Shirts are not guaranteed for those registering after October 15th. We will have a limited supply of extras.
We even offer a "Virtual Option" for those who prefer so you can complete your 5K or 10K any way you wish, anywhere in the world, as fast or slow as you care to go. All virtual participants will be mailed the shirt and medal to create the race on your own.
You don't need to be an Olympic athlete to participate-anyone of any ability can participate. So register now and join us for this fun but important event to support the educational needs of the families of America’s fallen and disabled service members!
